About the role

Full time - 39 hours per week - Permanent

Working 5 days a week across Monday - Sunday, between 6am - 11pm

£9.75 per hour (Inclusive of an £0.75 per hour, store specific location allowance)

Key responsibilities

The heart of the Tradepoint counter, you’ll deal with all kinds of trade customers every day. You’ll get to know them and their business by speaking face to face or over the phone – giving them the right materials and tools to get their jobs done, and spotting opportunities to offer them even more. As your knowledge about our full product range grows, you’ll be able to provide useful advice too. And you’ll take every opportunity to team up with other departments across the wider store. Other duties will include stock management, greeting customers, till operation, placing customer orders and signing up new members.

Required Skills & Experience

A great communicator and team worker, with the ability to get on with all kinds of colleagues and customers, you’ll feel right at home with us. You know how to build relationships with customers, and you’ve got an eye for a new business opportunity. You’ll be happy to expand your skills by using new technology and learning new ways of working. You’re happy to pitch in as part of a team too, and flexible enough to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
