Key responsibilities
As a Product Data Assistant, you will support the collection of data and imagery from vendors to create website product pages.
You will have direct impact on our customers by providing accurate product page information and applying delivery options to offer the best online experience.
A key part of this role, is to maintain product data to ensure customers can shop with ease and ultimately purchase the product with confidence.
- Work alongside the Product Data Specialists to complete product page launches on time.
- Support data and imagery collection from vendors to create new online product ranges.
- Review product data against set guidelines to maintain a consistent product page quality.
- Communicate project updates in weekly meetings with internal stakeholders.
- Request and correct product updates via a workflow system.
- Action product page improvements to imagery or gap fill data.
- Process daily tasks including product maintenance, delivery updates, product removals, promotions and website trading restrictions.
- Raise system issues via our internal IT service desk.
Required skills & experience
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Strong time management and organisation.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Ability to work well in a large team environment.
- A focus on attention to detail and confident in transposing data into systems.
- A working knowledge of tools like Excel, Riversand, Asset Management (DAM) an advantage. (But not essential as full training will be provided)
