Department Manager

No two days will be the same, as you solve problems, take calculated risks and make informed decisions to grow our business. You’ll be at the heart of everything, stretching and developing your team, making plans for key trading days and looking at customer and financial data to spot new opportunities.

Department Manager


We’re thinking more ambitiously about how our stores can offer our customers even more. Creating a store within a store, you’ll get to think big too. You’ll make things happen – setting standards, coming up with ideas, and finding fresh ways to make your team and department the best they can be. You’ll keep customer service levels high, and use your customer knowledge to spot opportunities to give them even more. It’ll be your department to run. But, because we’re so big on teamwork, you won’t tackle the challenge alone.

Advertising & Media Manager


Responsible for the strategy and planning of B&Q's ATL media budget. Overseeing creative execution, to make sure the work produced meets the media KPIs outlined in the planning process.

Store Support Office roles

Based just north of Southampton, our Store Support Office (SSO) works to support our colleagues and stores across the UK and Ireland. Our bespoke, modern and eco-friendly building houses an incredible team of talented people in a huge range of roles. They all work together to share innovative ideas and take our business, our colleagues, and every single one of our stores, forward.

Our SSO is home to an onsite gym, Costa coffee shop and subsidised canteen. It’s also home to teams ranging from Digital and Marketing to Finance and HR.
