We believe anyone can improve their home to make life better. Every day, we give our millions of customers the ideas, advice, tools and confidence they need to create a home they’ll love. Join us as a Tradepoint Team Leader and you’ll make sure our trade customers get everything they need for their biggest projects too.
Helping to run a store within a store, you’ll make our trade offering stand out in a competitive market. You’ll get involved in everything from managing stock and planning the store to motivating and developing the team. You’ll also be given the freedom to get proactive about seeking out new business within the local trade community. And, crucially, you’ll build up strong relationships with local tradespeople – earning their trust and respect as well as their repeat business.
Required skills & experience
Enthusiastic about creating an excellent customer experience, you’ll feel right at home with us. You know how to earn trust and ask the right questions, and you’re comfortable dealing with all kinds of different people. You’ve led teams before, and you have a nose for new business. You’ll be happy to expand your skills by using new technology and learning new ways of working. What’s more, you’re flexible enough to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
What's in it for me?
As well as a competitive salary, our benefits package includes an award-winning pension scheme, ShareSave options, 6.6 weeks holiday, payroll giving, an Employee Assistance Programme, shopping discounts, colleague wellbeing benefits and lots more! We also provide generous breaks to make sure you’re refreshed and able to perform at your best. So dependent on the duration of your shift and eligible break entitlement, we will pay you for the time you are on your break, so put your feet up on us!
As part of a great team, you’ll be supported to grow and encouraged to explore new career directions within the business and the wider group. And, because you’ll be inspiring great things for our customers and the whole business, you’ll do work worth caring about.
We want to ensure that all employees, future employees and applicants to all Kingfisher companies are treated equally regardless of age, gender, marital or civil partnership status, colour, ethnic or national origin, culture, religious belief, philosophical belief, political opinion, disability, gender identity, gender expression or sexual orientation.
