Key responsibilities

To co-ordinate the Visual Merchandising elements of the trading plan for each specific Trading area. To work closely with the Trade Planning Lead, the categories, the Visual Merchandisers and the planogrammers to bring to life all aspects of the trading plan. Enhance the customer experience by ensuring the right products have the right space in our estate as well as working closely with our central retail teams to make sure the trading plan is right for the end customer by enabling ease of in store execution.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the co-ordination of all Visual Merchandising aspects of the trading plan
  • Support the co-ordination and visual merchandising of trading layflats
  • Define and continually update detailed principles for trading space visual merchandising using customer insight and your awareness of trends and how customers shop.
  • Ensure these principles are applied in product layouts and end set ups
  • Responsible for setting up when required aspects of the trading plan and trading layflats
  • Engage and present campaign set ups to wider commercial teams with support of the categories.
  • Know and understand what trading, impulse and category space stores have by maintaining a robust matrix for each respective trading area
  • Close working relationship with the planogramming team and ability to share complex work in a simple fashion to ensure accurate planogram capture
  • Work within parameters of the campaign / layflat CPAs ensuring all deadlines are met and the wider teams are supported
  • Be a key advocate and spokesperson about the importance of our store teams keeping to the plan and continuously gather feedback from stores about the merchandising of ends
  • Work with trading POS team on all aspects of POS required for both trading plan and layflats

Required skills & experience

Required Skills & Experience:

·       Strong communicator with experience in building and maintaining

relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

·       Ability to plan and prioritise workload, with multiple projects and strict deadlines

·       High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Advantageous:

•        Previous experience within a retail environment

•        Customer focused

•        Previous visual merchandising experience

•        Managing projects
