Join us as a Strategic Partnerships Lead and you’ll be a big part of this. 

Key responsibilities

Partnership Development:

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard potential partners across the UK and Europe (eCommerce integrators, agencies, logistics providers, SaaS platforms, and marketing partners).
  • Negotiate and execute partnership agreements and ensure contracts are in place to formalise collaboration.
  • Develop joint marketing and lead-generation initiatives with partners to drive awareness of the B&Q Marketplace.

Partner Activation & Events:

  • Lead partner engagement initiatives such as webinars, events, and sponsorships to generate high-quality leads for the B&Q Merchant Hub.
  • Coordinate with Marketing to amplify partner campaigns across social, email, and content channels.
  • Represent B&Q Marketplace at partner and industry events across Europe.

Account Management:

  • Be fully accountable for the Partners ecosystem growth, performance and overall health.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with partners, acting as the key point of contact for commercial, marketing, and operational support.
  • Monitor and report on partner performance, ensuring a steady and measurable flow of seller leads.
  • Work collaboratively with partners to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions for merchants selling on B&Q Marketplace.

Required skills & experience

  • 6+ years’ experience in partnerships, business development, or account management within eCommerce, marketplace, or SaaS environments.
  • Proven track record of identifying and managing commercial partnerships that deliver measurable results.
  • Experience hosting webinars, events, or joint campaigns to drive awareness and lead generation.
  • Confident working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strategic approach to building and monetising a partner ecosystem
