Our many Finance and Legal teams work hand-in-hand across the board, at the heart of B&Q. From operational finance and business performance to financial planning and analytics, they underpin our business, informing our decisions and helping us plan for the future. They’re involved in everything we do here at B&Q. And they contribute to every bit of progress we make.
Our roles
Solicitor
As a B&Q Solicitor, you'll know the ins and outs of the law so you can help us manage legal risk and provide us with sound legal support whenever we need it. On corporate and commercial matters, you'll be the go-to-person. Skilled in contract negotiation and drafting; clued up on data protection; calm when it comes to dispute resolution; and willing to seek external counsel's advice when neccessary, you'll help get us to where we want to go.
Accountant
At the heart of our Financial Control function are our Accountants. They manage the weekly and monthly reporting, making sure we're compliant with accounting standards and Kingfisher Group obligations. They close out the month cleanly, assist with audits, and prepare our accounts. And they keep up on the effectiveness of all of our internal controls, so we can continue to deliver on our promises to our customers and colleagues.
Finance Analyst
As a Finance Analyst, you'll work on a bit of everything. Which means you'll get your hands on all the good stuff. From trading insight to net margin management, financial planning to strategic investing, you'll support, advise and challenge our Commercial Category teams to be even better.
Data Protection Assistant
We get data requests from all kinds of customers, colleagues and third-parties so it's critical that we process them properly. So, in this role, that's exactly what you'll do. Dealing with Subject Access Requests (or SARs) and non-complex data requests in a GDPR compliant way, you'll keep things safe and secure.
