About the role
As part of the Internal Communications and Culture team within our HR function, the Co-ordinator plays a significant role in creating and sharing internal communications content through our range of channels along with supporting with the design and delivery of Diversity & Inclusion (D&I), wellness and engagement initiatives. Ultimately, you’ll be contributing by connecting colleagues to the overall business strategy along with enabling ongoing culture development.
Key responsibilities
- Provides coordination support for the Internal Communications and Culture team activity with focus on ensuring internal communications content adheres to brand guidelines, is published accurately and on-time to relevant audience, and overseeing the scheduling and distribution of event invites
- Writes, edits, designs and publishes relevant content to inform and engage colleagues across a broad range of subjects for use across our communication channels
- Responsible for admin, including maintaining up-to-date communication distribution lists, overseeing team mailbox, scheduling meetings/events and tracking activity progress.
- Supports across team projects and events including communication set plays, campaigns, colleague networks, insight reporting and impact measurement.
- A full UK driving license and have access to a car to support photo and video shoots.
Required skills & experience
- Proficient in Office 365 – including good knowledge of SharePoint, Viva Engage, Teams (essential)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for accuracy and attention to detail (essential)
- Knowledge of email marketing software (e.g. Poppulo) and Adobe design tools (desirable)
- Experience of working in an internal communications or marketing communications role (desirable)
- Experience of events support and creating content/communication materials (desirable)
- Able to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
- Able to work at pace and be comfortable under pressure
